I am in a class at school called Family foundations. Every two weeks we have a new "Provident living" assignment. They vary from scripture reading, healthy living (Food and exercise), finances(budgeting and debt) and this last week was on Media Management. So Jacob and I decided that we were going to get rid of our TV and that we were only going to use the Internet for important things, like school and talking to family. We have realized over this two weeks that we don't need a TV and that we need to limit our Internet use, to be able to spend more time together as a family. I like facebook as an easy and fun way to communicate with my family and so I did not want to get rid of it completely. However, we have decided to just make it a place for family. So if you are my facebook friend, I will be continuing my blog and also you can email me. danimoore2006@gmail.com. I check my email all the time to keep in touch with people for school, so I check it daily. I hope this does not hurt anyone's feelings, it is just something I have to do for myself.
The bonus is it will get me back into my old blogging self. I miss the day where I posted more. Plus this can be used a a journal where facebook was just wasting my time.
Love to all

I love love love this. I wish I had a weekly assignment to get closer to my hubby. I am going to try to implement something like that. Maybe for FHE we will try something each week.
I would love to get rid of facebook, it is like an addiction, I just cant kick the habit.
I also love that you say that you are going to use your blog as a journal. I have been trying more and more to use it for that purpose, it helps me blog more often. I am speaking at enrichment this month on blogging as a form of modern day journaling, so I am so glad you said that.
I love you Danielle - it's funny because I can watch episodes of Full House that I watched when I was 6 years old and I remember exactly what happened - but I have no idea what happened the day it aired.
I'm looking forward to your posts!
Yay! I'm going to stalk you on your blog now :D

Matt and I got rid of our TV while at school because we were wasting so much time. Now that we're at my parents, I'm finding that we're wasting time again! And now Matt wants our own TV so that he can choose which programs we watch (kinda hard with 20 people trying to use 1 TV).
Best of luck to you in your endeavors.
My feelings are not hurt... but I do miss you on FB.
