I know I am a slacker!

I have been crazy busy with school, especially preschool. I haven't had time for anything else. I promise I will update soon. I found a video of Alia that I love so I am trying to post it but for some reason it is not working. I promise I will post soon.

When I feel better..........

I know I haven't posted in a little while, but I have been really sick. Now that I have some medicine, I should start feeling better. Then I have to make sure I get through finals, but I promise I will post soon.

A Whirlwind Week

Jacob was in Vegas from Thursday until Sunday night. The house was very quiet but I was able to go hang out with friends and get a workout in. Last week we finally went back to weight watchers and things are going well. If you you ever want an update on our weight loss journey you can look at our weight loss blog. I am super busy with school and Jacob is busy working until he goes to Phoenix for more selling in a few weeks and then to Provo for a training. Tomorrow I am going to get my BMI index and I am excited but at the same time know it is not going to be good. All is good here on the home front though and hopefully soon I will have some fun pictures to post.

Two Worlds

I think that is why I am mostly ok he has gone. I was a little worried when he told me the place he was staying in overnight was ghetto. I think he can hold his own though. He is in Vegas to see if he has what it takes to sell security systems this summer (That may sound wrong, he can sell, he just wants to see if it is the company for him). Hopefully he will make some money this weekend, that would be nice. Will let you know how the weekend went. He has the camera, so hopefully he will take some pictures.

Camera Sadness!

For those of you who don't know, my camera had a little accident. It got ran over by my sisters car. Why it decided to fall beneath the tire I have no idea. So, we don't have any recent pictures. Lately Jacob has been working and working. I have been at home doing homework. I cooked my first thanksgiving and everything I made turned out perfect. My mother-in-law and I went to the BYU-Air force game. Which was very fun. Jacob and I went Black Friday shopping with his sister Whitney, didn't get much because our wallets are pretty empty but none the less still super fun. It was pretty nice my MIL lives across from wal-mart so we didn't have to deal with parking or traffic. Once my mother-in-law gets over her mood and starts talking to us again, I might get the pictures from Thanksgiving. I will post them all.

Until then, I guess I should ask Santa for a new camera.

So nice to have internet!

After not having Internet and a computer for over a month it is so nice to have it. I don't have much time to be on it since I am always doing homework. It is just nice to feel connected to the world again! :)

I know I haven't posted since my computer was stolen but I was wondering who reads my blog. Do people not comment because it is private? Are my posts boring? Let me know. If you read it give me a shout out.

One of my friends wants to see our weight loss blog and so I thought I would open it up to anyone who wants to see it. It is more like a journal with pictures but anyone is more than welcome to look at it.

Providant Living!

Today we had our relief Society lesson on provident living. Which I thought was perfect because we just sold our beloved Bumblebee. We realized that with the dramatic wage decrease from Eugene to Rexburg we really could not afford to keep "our baby" if we wanted to save money and survive. So we are going to be walking and biking it everywhere in Rexburg. I was walking home from church today and like 5 families stopped to see if I wanted a ride. It was super nice of them but Jeez we live like 5 blocks away. It is uphill but my feet work. Lots of our neighbors have said, "well, that's too bad you don't have a car, we are sorry for you"! Don't be sorry for us. We are excited to be able to get more exercise in and rexburg really isn't that big. We can walk anywhere we want to in the town. Plus my parents sent me my bike so once we get Jacob one we can bike anywhere.

Wicked fast internet in our new apartments

Okay so I just had to post about how wicked fast the internet at BYUi is. Danielle and I just moved in to University Village which is owned by Brigham Young University-Idaho and the internet for the apartments (all of our utilities are included in the rent even electricity) is the same internet that the school has and while it has some drawbacks (i.e. web filter blocks all access to gaming websites until 5pm M-F and facebook is blocked during that time also :( but this has definitely helped in not wasting time doing things on the internet when we are supposed to be doing schoolwork!!

Anywho I was curious how fast the internet connection is here so I went to www.speedtest.net here and tested the Idaho Falls server (it's like 30 minutes away) and these are the results that I got back

Sunny and in the 60's

Today was so nice, I went on a walk with my friend Lynsee. Neither one of us had been on the bike path and so we decided to explore.I love how you can see the temple from anywhere ion the town. It is up on the hill and super pretty. It glows at night with all of the lights.

This is a little branch of the Snake River. I thought it was really pretty. It is right next to the bike path. You can still see a little bit of snow, it is almost gone though.

Randoms!

So I have been slacking and there were a few posts I wanted to do but didn't so I am going to put them all together! I love D. I. We went to one in Utah and I got everything in the picture above for $20. In case you can't tell what they are we got:

Jacob loves this picture of my hair. Saturday night Jacob fell asleep on the couch and I fell asleep on the recliner. This is what I looked like when I woke up. It made me laugh.

Jacob tried to throw a snowball at me and ended up throwing it at himself. I had to take a pic. Sometimes, not the brightest crayon in the box.

I made this visiting teaching sign at our visiting teaching conference in our ward. I thought it was super cute. The conference was fun because I got to get o know people a little bit better.

I had to take a picture of the bleachers because yesterday was the second day we ran the bleachers in class. Now for people that don't know I am not rally a runner, I have been working on it though. So I am struggling up the stairs and mind you people are passing me. All the guys that pass say, "you can do it". I know they were trying to be nice but I wanted to yell at them, "Duh, I am doing it"! I did do it. That last time I did three times around the whole stadium, this time I did four! I may be the slowest person in the class but at least I am improving.

So funny story. I was on facebook and was thinking.......... I wonder what Dawnielle is up to? So I decided to search her and I found her. She is living in Salt Lake with her super cute family. We are going to try to go visit her next time we are in town. I just thought I would post about it because I was super excited. I have tried to get her number before when I was in florance but no luck. So now, we can keep each other updated.

Help Me!!!

So we are pretty broke, our anniversary is tomorrow. I need fun ideas of something to get for Jacob or ideas of something to do. Please help me. I know it is short notice, but to tell you the truth with school it was kinda put on the back burner.

Don't worry we are o.k.!!!!!!!!

I can't believe how long it has been since I have blogged. So much has happened, and we have been so busy. I still haven't even posted my pictures of my handsome nephew Jayden. We had such a good time in Utah with Jacob's family. When I get my camera back from my sister Andrea I will post them.

On our way home from Utah I noticed that there was something wrong with our airbag on the passengers side. So Jacob took it into the shop and they told him the car had been in an accident prior to us buying it. So Kendall (Jacob's employer) said we should just shop for a new car.

Then about an hour later I get another phone call and it is Jacob telling me within the next two weeks he was going to be laid off. They said it was because we were moving. No matter the reason for being laid off it just sucks.

It will all work out it is just really stressful. With trying to pack, find a new apartment, a new job and move. On a lighter side Jacob and I decided that we deserved to go to a movie together for a date and so we decided to go to Eagle Eye!

It was fabulous. I would have to say it is one of the best movies of the year. It is so full of action, your mind is always busy. I laughed and cried, jumped and cringed. Anyway, until next time.

My Birthday present!

Jacob and I decided that we needed something bigger than our KIA, although I did love it. We got a 2002 Yellow Nissan Xterra. This will be great for our move in December and will get us through the snowy mountains. I love it.

Finally done with spanish & my application for school is officially in!

I am so excited. I don't have Spanish anymore this summer. It was pure torture. 3 hours of class a day 4 days a week, 9 hours of homework twice a week. I know it is ridiculous. I was supposed to take Spanish 102 staring Monday, but after breaking down to Jacob because I couldn't handle it anymore I decided to drop the class. I did learn a ton and liked the subject it was just too time consuming. With school and work sometimes I had to stay up all night long to finish it.

As of yesterday when we met with a person from the stake presidency my application for BYU-I is officially in. Now we just have to play the waiting game. Jacob says I shouldn't stress, which is funny because I have been stressing so now he is. I just feel like Idaho is the right place for us and it worries me because I don't want to get my hopes up. I'll let you guys now what the verdict when we find out.
