A new beginning
I it is so ironic what this post was originally titled. It was REJECTION SUCKS!!!!! That was just a little over a month ago. I was very dissapointed after going to my first job interview after college, feeling reallygood about it and then being told they had picked someone else. They said it was really cose between the two of us and that is why they waited so long to call us back. I was sad but was happy subbing in the position I had been.

This picture is the morning of my interview. Jacob had boought me a brand new necklace and everything.
I have had the awesome opportunity to substitute for the teacher I did my special education student teaching for. She became ill and had to leave the school so I substituted during student teaching and then after. This last week the teacher I was subbing for resigned and they offered me the job. I am really sad for her but it is an exciting new step in my life. I love the school I work at and the students. I also work with a group of amazing people. As I was contemplating what to name this post now I came up with new beginnings.

Our 6th Anniversary
This post is way overdue. I was looking through my posts and I found like ten that I have not published yet. Anywho, on the 17th of January Jacob and I celebrated our 6th anniversary. It was a very laid back day since I had to work at the school. Jacob had the day off and so I was excited to go home and see him. We just hung out at home because we were scheduled to celebrate the weekend after in Yellowstone (more about this later).
I am lucky to be married to Jacob for eternity. He is an amazing man and loves me more than anything. We have been through the good and the bad. I am so glad the good outweighs the bad.
Here we are at our reception. For those of you that remember we were not married yet. We got married three days later in Reno.
I really love this picture of us. I don't know what we were laughing at but it is perfect.
This picture is from our first Christmas married. I love this picture and we have yet to take another creative Christmas picture.
On our second anniversary Jacob made an appointment for my to get my hair and nails done. He rented a nice car, took me to Ambrosia and then we stayed in a nice hotel. It was so much fun.
For our 3rd anniversary we went to Yellowstone. We had only been in Rexburg for a little while and we realized that Yellowstone is only an hour away. It was so fun. We went snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Loved it.
During our fourth year of marriage we took a road trip home to Oregon and had such a great time. In the way there we stopped by Multnomah Falls and had a great hike and a great rest from such a long trip.
This was taken this last July at my college graduation. Our 5th ear of marriage was full of changes and we can't wait to see what a 6th year will bring.
USC Game
This post should have been published a long time ago but for some reason I had a bunch of posts that were sitting there done but not published. Decorating and planning for this games was so much fun and it is something we should do every year.
All of the decorations were from the dollar store, the Christmas section at walmart (also dollar items) and homemade.
I ordered this form a local pizza place in town. The guys were really cool and excited to make something different. Jacob was so surprised.
We used the clapper for every game, it is from the dollar store and it even lights up.
So happy together
My famous game day cake. I either make bright yellow cake with green frosting or the cake pictures above. This is the first time I have added sugar sprinkles.
Walk in the cold!!!!!
One night I decided I wanted to go to the gym and workout. I don't know about you but if I am going to workout I need something to listen to. It wasn't until then that I realized that my ipod was across town at the ford dealership where are beloved car is in the shop. I was so happy when Jacob offered to walk there with me in the freezing cold.
Our beloved baby, she won't even start up right now. So we are walking our way around Rexburg until we get paid.
Me and my hubby, I sure love him.
Walking up the hill to the temple. It is so beautiful. Especially at night with all of the lights.
This is a remake of a picture we took the last time we went up to the temple for a date night. I thought it was time for a new one.
Main street lights
We had to get a soda to finish off the night
