Our valentines Day!

So for Valentines Day I got these 30 hearts at Wal-art and put on them things I love about Jacob. While he was in the shower for Stake Conference I hung them up. He loved it. We went to stake Conference and then had a fabulous dinner (Turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing), so yummy. Jacob got me some low carb treats and a baby outfit pattern for me (I am learning how to sew, he said it is for our baby someday). I thought it was so sweet.
Jacob showing off his surprise. He like it more than I thought he would.Jacob decided that we needed a picture of us. I decided I didn't like it with my coat on....
So we took another one.
Jacob is so funny, he said he liked my hair so he had to take a picture of it.
Here is a picture of my handsome honey who is doing such a good job losing weight.

Hangin' with the Olympians!

Jacob and I today hung out with the Olympians at Eugene'08. It was so much fun and a great experience. The police set up at autzen was crazy (where you catch the buses). Also at the gates they had home land security check.

The Oregon boys celebrating their win.

From left to right, christian, Andrew and Nick.

In case some of you haven't heard, something pretty exciting happened in the Men's 400. All three finalists headed to Beijing are Oregonians. One from Eugene ( Andrew Wheating), one from Salem (Christian Smith) and who knows where the other is from (Nick Symmonds). It was pretty amazing race and has got the spirits up of the fans here.
This picture has a funny story. At the Johnson and Johnson booth, they begged Jacob and I to "take a picture with the Olympians". They said it looks so real. I don't know if you see what I see, but they look really shiny and not so real. Anyway, this picture makes me laugh. Oh ya! I got my hair cut.
Jacob posing at the entrance. At this point we were leaving and he wasn't feeling good. There is not going to be a picture posted of me at the end, because it was horrible and made me look really fat or pregnant.

Jacob was dying to play the wii. They had like ten stations where you could play it.
He even got to play a game that isn't even out yet. It is a Beijing Olympics edition.

Formal Dance

This last Saturday was our annual tri-stake formal dance. It was more lame than last year, but we were trying to be supportive and go. We started the night off by going to dinner at P.F. Chang's with our friends Rob and Heather Henderson, Missy & Paul, and another couple from their ward. It was super fun. That was until we got to the church. It was decorate like a castle, super cool. We were there for an hour and got tired of the records they were playing. You heard me right, records. All I could think of was "are you freaking kidding me". Here are some pictures of us dressed up.

Our Anniversary Celebration!

First of all I just want to say that my husband is amazing! I am so lucky to have someone in my life who loves me so much. It has been a rough two years, financially, medically and mentally. We have also had an amazing two year. In the last three months I have lost 25 pounds and Jacob has lost 23. We are working hard to make our life together last longer. Jacob put himself in charge of our anniversary celebration this year. He did an amazing job, that is an amazing job at spoiling me. I got off work and Jacob had made an appointment for me to get my hair dyed and to get my nails done. When he showed up at my work, he pulled up in an amazing car. He rents a red Acura from his work for our fantastic night. He took us to Ambrosia and then he rented a hotel for the night. He also got the food we ate on our picnic the day he proposed ( Smoked salmon, Gouda cheese and crackers. Washed down with some sparkling cider.) He made it an anniversary I will never forget.

This is my favorite picture. Jacob looks amazing and I think that I look pretty hot. (These picture are thanks to my parents coming over and taking them.)

This is my second favorite. It shows the new color of my hair pretty good too. Funny story...... So my friend recommended this hair salon and when I walked in there were skulls hanging on the wall. Not real ones.... Just a little creepy. Every hair dresses has crazy color hair and probably 30 piercings. For you people that live in Eugene it is right about high priestess if that says anything. They are way nice though and do a fantastic job.

I had to think of something to do, Jacob wanted me to pose in front of the car. It just makes my butt look extra huge.
Waiting for our food at Ambrosia. I had never been there before and it was amazing. If you live in Eugene and haven't been there yet put it on your list. We are going there for Valentines day.
He's not very creative. He had to pose exactly like me. That's o.k. though. At least he let me take a picture.
Everything is in twos. I didn't notice until I was setting everything on the table. I guess it makes sense because there are two of us. By the way we did not eat all the cupcakes, we only ate one. We were too full from dinner. On the bottom right are the truffles that Jacob bought for me. I thought they were super cute.

Two Years Already!

I can't believe that it has already been two years. Time sure does go by quickly. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to have such an amazing eternal companion. We've been through a lot but it has just brought us closer. Here are a few pictures that I love of the two of us.

Christmas Pictures

You'll have to let us know what you think of the pictures. They are our first Christmas pictures and so we wanted them to be really fun. Also, it is a pretty special time since I use to be a die hard Husky fans and know I cheer for the Ducks. I thought they turned out really well. It is funny, we had to use my parents house and tree to stand by because our tree is too short.
I love this picture. It gives you a little glimpse on how serious we are about the ducks. Just kidding.
Our wonderful family. It is small but someday we will have little "Ducks" for the picture.

O Christmas tree

Jacob's too cute and a good sport. I don't think that he really wanted to decorate the tree on Saturday. However, when I told him that it was our date night he agreed. This is just a picture of Jacob putting the star on the tree.
The finished product. I was pretty proud of myself . We got our tree up and decorated, all the presents wrapped and under the tree 1 month before Christmas. This was the first tree that Jacob and I decorated together. Last year while I was decorating the tree he was watching a movie with my niece who was spending the night. I found out that Jacob doesn't think that any ornaments should go on the bottom of the tree or the back of the tree. They should all go on the top and all bunched up together. We had to compromise. He is so funny.

! BLACK FRIDAY !

Gotta love Black Friday. Do we look cold? We were freezing. We told my sister Nicole to come and cuddle with us so she would stay warm. She declined. My mom is so sweet, she went to Starbucks and got us hot chocolate. What an amazing woman. It was crazy, the line was miles long, and when they were opening the door people came out of their cars and were trying to get in. The whole line started yelling and booing. I thought that there was going to be a fight. The security guards held them off though. This was not my first store however Jacob and Nicole had been there since 4:30am. I was at Shopko at 3:30 am. So much fun and so worth it.
