This last Saturday was our annual tri-stake formal dance. It was more lame than last year, but we were trying to be supportive and go. We started the night off by going to dinner at P.F. Chang's with our friends Rob and Heather Henderson, Missy & Paul, and another couple from their ward. It was super fun. That was until we got to the church. It was decorate like a castle, super cool. We were there for an hour and got tired of the records they were playing. You heard me right, records. All I could think of was "are you freaking kidding me". Here are some pictures of us dressed up.
I'm sorry about the music! I was there earlier in the evening to check out the decorations (Martin was heavily involved and I wanted to see...) and the DJ was there playing music already. Yeah, pretty lame. Too bad. You looked great, though!
You are so hilarious! I love your descriptions "even more lame than last year" and "are you freaking kidding me?" So funny! You and your husband looked gorgeous though!
I am sorry that the dance was lame. I'm glad that we were out of town and had to miss it (although I couldn't drag Matt to a dance if my life depended on it!).

Maybe next year you and Jacob can be in charge of the music. I am sorry it was lame, but I am sure you made the best of it, you always do. :)

Thanks! We're pretty excited. How's the Springfield 1st ward? You guys see Adam and Kelsay much?
