Day one!

We met mom and dad at their house so that we had breakfast before we left. Mom really was excited even though in the picture it looks like she isn't. We had homemade egg McMuffins, the best. We actually got out of town on time which is shocking.

Mom, Dad and Jacob eating lunch at our little picnic. It was at a rest stop but it was really pretty. It was stinking hot though. 100 degrees. I am o.k. with that though.

We stayed over night in Stockton California at Howard Johnson which at first I though we were in Compton but it turned out o.k. On the way to dinner mom wanted to take a picture of us next to the cute little palm tree in the pool. As soon as we got to the hotel we swam for a couple of hours. It was great.
That is Mom pointing to our room, it was super close to the pool. It was the second from the right. Luckily it had air conditioning because it was super duper hot!

We drove to the city center which turned out to be across the street from our hotel. We ate at a dang good pizza at a cute little pizza place called Red Brick Pizza. The we had to have some cold stone for dessert, you can't pass that up.

In the plaza where dinner and dessert was they have entertainment every weekend so we stayed around and watched some Mexican dancers. They were very good, we wanted to stay around and see the little children but they took to long.

After we realized that our hotel was just across the street and down a bit Jacob and I decided to walk back. It was super pretty right next to the river. Man, I love that guy. Anyway, a good ending to an awesome day. We will fill you in more later. Until then I will enjoy all the amazing weather for all of you.
