Just a little spill, but the pic makes it look big. All the kids thought it looked like a shark. I would have to totally agree.
Then it was Madison's turn with the butter.
She didn't want any help, and did great!
And the Jet-puff marshmallow cream!
Don't forget the vanilla.
Gotta have the chocolate chips.
They all wanted to be around the stove which is hard for five people.
Now this is what happens if you try to make fudge with three children, sometimes you forget to follow directions completely. The first time we did not make fudge.
So Madison, Julian and I had Popsicles while...........
Grandma and Shane ran across the street to Albertsons for more ingredients.
and this time we made some fudge.
I really do miss my family, I was telling my mom about this post and started bawling. Just know Andrea, Nicole, Julian and Denise that we love you so much and miss you even more.

How's Idaho treating you?! I bet you do miss your family a ton, but i'm sure you will get used to it and love Idaho!!! Plus, you really aren't that far away!!!! :) Love ya!
Danielle we miss both of you also. Shane and Madison always talk about Danielle and Jacob moving to Idaho. It was kind of cute- here is a short story.
We were going to go to Washington like you know to celebrate Christmas, but I-5 was closed due to flooding. So we canceled our trip. Denise watched Shane and Madison for a little while so I could get my hair cut. While I was getting ready to leave Denise said I am packing to go on our trip. The decided to go to Grants Pass for the weekend since we weren't going to Washington. Madison came home all worried. She said Mom I asked Denise 3 times and she said that they were coming home. They are not packing and moving she said that they were coming home. They are going on a vacation and they will be back. She kept saying that over and over. I finally got it. She didn't want them to move. I said are you sad that Danielle moved. She said yes, because when she was packing they were going to stay in Idaho. She was really worried because Denise was packing that she was moving. So our family does miss you around here.

One more funny thing. Shane came home from making fudge and said. Mom have you ever heard of marshmallow cream. I said yes that is what you make fudge out of. He said isn't it cool. We need to get some.
I thought that was cute!

Madison surprises us everyday...she is growing up so fast, she is so cute. Please give her a hug and a kiss from us & just remind her how much her Aunt & Uncle love her.
I had such a blast making breakfast (for lunch) with Shane on New Years Eve, every time I was ready for the next thing I said Shane I'm ready & he'd bounce up off the couch & be right there he loved it so much.
Shane I'll never forget when I was in the kitchen making breakfast & you were watching Enchanted then Danielle started singing to a song and you said "STOP IT I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT" I remember laughing so hard. Especially cause sometimes that bugs uncle Jacob also. It was also cute when you saw Gieselle (the princess) pop out of the Hole into New York & you said is that Idaho...We love & miss you so much!!
It's hard to be away, but you guys will love your new adventures!
